Thanks for posting!

IT would be grate if you post some detail photos.
I guess the silver knob is clock for bomb release? Does it seem to be timer?

Cheers!

I don’t think this is from a Mosquito B35. This bomb aimers panel is much smaller than a B35 one and misses the camera control unit, the range of bombdoor switches and the bomb door open light device. Also the B35 has the Bomb distributor Type VII,(ref.nr. 5D/1065) and not the type VI. See my thread: Mosquito Mk B 35 bomb aimer.

Thanks for the info air ministry , I’m in the uk so rules out Canadian, b35 is still nice technically ww2 I suppose though the variant didn’t see wartime operational service I think im right in saying .

22craf,

I think your panel is from a later aircraft.

Having checked the APs for the B IV and BIX, there are slight differences between yours and the one illustrated in those Volumes.

My betting would be on B 35, unless you are outside the UK, in which case we might be looking at a Canadian made panel?

Hi 22craf, I’ve sent you a PM.
I would be very grateful if possible for some pictures of the box which the Distributor sits in, to enable me to make a replica for my Lancaster Panel. I have the Distributor itself, but not the box it sits in.
Many thanks,
Andy

Thank you Peter that’s an excellent photo of one in situ , I still wonder if it would be from a wartime or post war variant ?
