Acquired this summer at an aero jumble.
Appears to be a carburettor inlet duct from something or other. Can anyone i/d the type/installation?
Width across the curved opening is 40cm. Width across the rectangular opening is 50cm. Material is cast alloy.

Edit: The intake (?) “mouth” reminds me of the under-spinner duct shape of the P-51.

I would have said it was Argonaut, but because it’s black, could it be Lincoln perhaps?
