Hi all,
I will be off to Beijing in 2006 (July). I looked up on Travelocity and it says this:
BA039….LHR-PEK….B777-200….9h50m
That seems pretty normal but I would have thought the Ba flight would have been a 747. Looking at the stats, LHR-PEK is approx 10,500km and the range of a 777-200 is approx 9,500. The 772ER would make it so I’m sure thats what it means.
My question is: Do BA normally send a 772 to Beijing or a 747??

ah right…cheers David. After my experiences on both a BA 777 and a BA 747 I’d rather a 747 though…oh well, beggers can’t be choosers.

Checking airliners.net, all the photos I see at PEK of BA are 777.
Dating back to 2001, I can’t see (after a quick glimpse) of BA’s 744s there.
That help?
