A b-29 superfortress or a b24 liberator coming to the uk/europe for a season because i am sure that there would be plenty of people who would like to see these planes in the air but cannot afford to go to America to see them

A simple answer to that is slim to none, The guys who own and operate these aircraft relie on selling rides to pay for the tours and since the UK doesn’t allow such things it will never happen again.
When the CAF brought over the 29/24 the last time it ended up costing them alot of money. Collings Foundation will not bring there 24 over becasue they sell rides and that is how it pays for itself. I had a talk with Bob Sr. sometime back about what was the chances of the Bomber Tour going to Europe and he made it quite clear that unless the CAA allowed them to sell rides then he would never bring the planes across the pond.
Sorry but I think the only way your ever going to see a 24 or 29 fly is if DX gets their airworthy.
