I found this while looking through the urbex forum found on another thread in this forum.
Basically a picture of a couple of radial engines one with a bent prop the other without. I am thinking its of a later transport aircraft but I could be wrong. Any of you more engine savy guys know what they are and what they might be from.

You might get the Morris Minor van behind the engines included in a deal for the engines, get it going to take the Bristol engines home in it!
Just looking through the posts on that link:

That particular Harrier still has it’s engine fitted…….. what a waste of a good aircraft!
(Not sure if what the members of that forum get up to is always legal)

Vickers varsity
In the late 70s early 80s there was a vickers varsity on the fire dump at Leuchars – eventually camouflaged – perhaps these are it’s engines?

This one is in Kirkcaldy (THom Muir Haulage), you can see the railway engines from Den Road (and on Google Streetview)
I think we have discussed this one before – could the engines be from a Hastings or Bristol Freighter?

Thanks guys. I thought they might be but not realy knowing my engines I didnt want to make a complete fool of myself by saying. I wouldnt really know what I was looking at to be honest except that I once walked round the Hercules that once stood in East Fortune for quite some time taking in all the wonder of the thing.
I wonder how long they have been in that yard and where they came from.
Anyone know anymore?
