Scotch eggs can be eaten warm but taste much better cold

Don’t know why it is referred to as a ‘Scotch‘ Egg (don’t think it has anything to do with whisky!) – it is a boiled egg encased in sausage meat and covered in breadcrumbs. Personally I have never eaten one hot, but I have never eaten a hot pork pie either so I am unable to explain if they are meant to be consumed cold.

Food hopefully, but the menu is not decided yet as I have to wait until Mrs C finishes work to consult her otherwise I’ll get it in the neck (as usual)
