What are you looking forward to in 2008?

Another airshow season has been and gone, but what are you all looking forward to in 2008?

Mine will have to be the sight of 2 gladiators in formation of uk skies (where ever it may be) and hopefully the sound of a roaring vulcan setting off many a car alarm!!!

In my case just getting to an airshow would be good, but preferably something with the emphisis on historic aircraft. Regardless of those who knock Legends I reckon that is likely to be my one chance of meeting that criteria as it is most years. I would dearly love to get back to OW again though as I haven’t been there for far too many years. Also getting to Bruntingthorpe for an engine run of one or both the lightnings.

I must admit I didn’t think this year was particularly bad for accidents (I do appreciate that any accident is bad enough), especially compared with some previous years.

enjoying a safe, incident-free yet enjoyable show season, the rumoured (?) 4 aerobatic teams (Snowbirds, Reds, Patrouille and Angels or T’birds) at Quebec City (June 13-15), and possibly a hop to the UK or the continent to actually catch a show this time (still highly doubtful, yet I can still dream)… Duxford would be neat, but any large Mil show would fix me nicely.

oh, and I’ll concur with Blue Robin… getting a real job… 😉

It was not ‘only’ the Hurricane, that took the life of a very well respected pilot

Its gotta be the Vulcan, followed by,P40,FW190,109-red7,a second Lanc if it comes over & a safe, accident free season for all to enjoy-here’s to the 2008 season.:D

Well it was only the hurricane that crashed this year and last year I think was accident free not sure? Is the Canadian Lanc ment to be coming over next year then? And whats a B-36? 😮 Oh one last thing that I would like to see is TFC 72 Squadron livery Gladiator do a flypast with two 72 Squadron Tucano T1 😎

re

maybe selling my battle of Britain screenplay to a company who know what to do with it.

Not having Waddington spoiled again, and seeing the vulcan flying – the 1st ever flypast I bought mentioned it had just been retired. i got into the scene just too late!

how about flying over fields flour bombing those idle b******s that sit in deck chairs cos they are too stingy to pay to get into airshows? 😀 😀
