(Mods, I’m not sure if this is the right sub-forum? Feel free to relocate the topic if necessary and my apologies)
I’ve recently got into aircraft spotting, not too surprising for someone interested in commercial aviation and for someone who only lives 20 minutes from LHR.
I’m thinking of investing in an entry level (beginners) camera to capture the moments for posterity (I have to admit my £30 fujifilm pocket digital camera doesn’t quite cut the mustard :p).
I don’t want to splash huge amounts of money given this is a hobby I’m only just getting into (so £100-£150 range).
I don’t know too much about photography but was thinking about a bridge camera as they look the part and fit the budget.
Does anyone know what the picture quality of a bridge camera (in said price range) would be like while taking photographs of aircraft at ~40ft above the ground? Or does anyone have any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Matt.
