Finally, my boss gave me clearance for a three months holiday. The only imposed restriction is to spend it in an English speaking country, preferably the UK (let’s learn proper English :diablo: ).
My goal is to make this stay a work experience in historic aviation.
I have military aviation related experience (helicopter maintenance).
If anybody of you knows where to ask for this sort of thing or if you need a helping hand for three months, please let me know, I’d really appreciate it.

I agree with that. The major difficulty I have sometimes is understanding some who should be able to speak plain English as a first language… Crazymainer… Stewrat1A… Anna…. ??? 😀

If you would like to work with a large fleet of very busy airworthy historic aircraft (of all shapes and sizes- including ex Swiss air force Vampire/Venoms) have a look at www.classicflight.com.
And probably learn to how sing “lady in Red” at high volume and totally out of tune (if last sunday is anything to go by :))

I have no idea if they use temporary volunteers but the Helicopter Museum at Weston-super-Mare sounds an ideal place to ask.
You may end up with a West Country English accent which would confuse people. 🙂
