Sorry to say this but as far as modern military has gone the site is losing interest…to me anyway. No I’m not complaining exactly, I know its difficult to come up with threads which interest all members but recently the threads seem to be repeating themselves in different ways. What I mean is there have been countless threads on the FC-1 and the J-10. There have been so many “F/A-18E vs.” threads I’ve been waiting for the “F/A-18E vs. Spitfire” thread :p . There have been pointless debates which it seems people are coming up with out of pure desperation. Okay I’ve made my point (without being told to bugger off I hope 😉 ).
So what can we do to get things back on track or at least make it more interesting?
I was thinking how about the occasional quizz by some of our more experienced members such as Arthur (nudge nudge Arthur)?
How about we hold controlled debates on possible conflicts between various nations – maybe debates about nations who have no members here (eg. Italy vs. Libya in a battle for Malta)?
How about discussing aircraft we hear very little of such as F-104 operations by Taiwan or maybe combat success of various aircraft such as Iranian F-4s?
Not whining, just making suggestions 😎 !

This board has it’s ups and downs – sometimes things seem awfully out of interest for you, but then suddenly things get going again. And since it’s summer now, it would seem a lot of people turn things down a bit (except maybe for the Indian and Pakistani flamebuddies).
Of course, posting a new thread might help. Sometimes even the whiniest first postings can evolve into highly interesting threads. Just ask Phantom II 😀
As for a quiz: it’s actually one thing Ja Worsley was good at. There are a number of on-line aviation trivia quizzes, some of them are way too easy while others are very tough. I don’t think i would be the right guy to start a quiz though, but now i think of it…
