Some photos for you guys, and a question….what are the colors used here? I suffer from a bit of color blindness, some oranges look red to me….in these, I’m having a bit of a bad time with the darker camouflage color, it looks like a dark brown to me and a medium green in other photos…so what is the accurate color to use? It’s for my model….

Found the Humbrol at my hobby store (much to my surprise!) but instead got the Testor’s European Earth Green (or something like that) and the Hurricane is now painted, and may I say looking good….trumped up some decals from a P-40 kit to put on it (K-HR) since the kit did’nt come with any kind of useable letters, and I think she looks good….just details to take care of now, putting on the glass and landing lights, touching up bits of paint…then ‘dirtying it up’, oil smears and mud and wear and chipped paint, my favorite part of the process….THEN maybe take some photos and see what you lot think…

I usually paint my early-war RAF-planes with Humbrol-colour: 30 (green) and 29 (brown), sky should be Humbrol 90.
