Why does the U.S. have a general staff? Why do those linguini-spined chickens in uniform sit still and do nothing? Is their “career” more important than the Republic? Why do we appoint anybody to any rank higher than BGen at all, when all they do is trying to look good and get some lucrative consultant contract when retiring?
When in the end some alibi wildcard from outside, some law firm or consultant or whatever http://www.wbbinc.com/ is instrumental in shaping the future of the force and determine the capability of the U.S. to preserve their vital interests? And damn the Congress for letting that happen!

It is hardly believeable, but that current Bush administration shows even more incompetence in defence matters than the Clinton administration! The damage they do will not be mended in twenty years.
