London will look like this…

How about the city you reign from?

My hometown of Utrecht is going to change quite fundamentaly in the next 10 years. The hole area around the Central Train Station is going to be changed. So we get a new centrum here. Must be more beautifull then we have now, uglier isn’t possible.

I’ll try to get some pics of Birmingham as it is becoming, I’m getting quite proud of the place now as well as frequently lost.

You have an interesting point there Ben, I mean that’s probably why we have all those jokes about you ;). But then again the sentiments towards Belguim are more of the symphaty kind then the hostile kind.

Dutchmen anti-Flemish, didn’t know that. But as a dutchmen you’re supposed to love Antwerp. After all, the intelligent people in the north are actually people from the southern netherlands who fleed from Spanish suppression :p 😀 And what do we get in return: tourists and Rick de Leeuw. And good music, anyone knows the song “België” from het goede doel.
Maar om even op A’pen terug te komen. De werken aan de ring zijn echt wel een probleem. Afstand Brussel-A’pen is slechts 60km maar duurt nu 3 uur. N’est-ce pas?

Life is unfair. This was just a touch of it, hope you liked it.
In all fairness, we were talking about the development of Antwerp Central Station. They are creating a whole new station within the old one. Very nice, that alone is enough reason to go and visit Antwerp, but I know dozens more. Don’t tell any one I feel like this I supposed to be anti Flemish like a good Dutchman 😀 .

De veranderingen in het station beginnen duidelijk zichtbaar te worden, bedoel ik dan om te zien hoe het zal worden. Ik weet niet echt wanneer het klaar zal zijn, maar ik denk in 2006-7. Het ziet er echt goed uit.

I didn’t see Antwerp change a lot in the few years, but we got a better mass transit system with loads of new busses and trams, but that’s all I can think of. I ten years I hope chewing gum will be removed from the sreet. But Antwerp is going to change for sure in the next five years. De Leie, The main street for coming into Antwerp is going to be completely rebuilt. I also hope that the Franklin Rooseveltplaats is gonna get renovated, which is slightly happening. De Meir, the third most important shopping street of europe, is hopefully going to be renovated. It was beautiful when it was new, but was then a bit neglected. What i like a lot about Antwerp is that you can find so much cultures and nationalities. Polskie produktÿ, Walid Nightshop, Azmar Phone center, etc:D
Antwerp has got one of the most beautiful train stations I know. Last time I was there they were remodelling it, I liked it very much how they, with respect to the old create something for the 21 century.

exactly the same. 10 years, it’s nothing. Lets say in 100 years.

psst, NCLRULES, i do live in newcastle u know, seen them all before.;)
dont get me wrong, newcastle has changed alot over the last 8 years (been gone 4 and been living here for another 4), but all the ‘changes’ werent really changes. its just mostly new stuff being put in (mostly outside the city centre as well).
in ten years time, sure, there’ll be lots of new stuff built here and there, but the city itself will still look…well the same, the only things different will be some newer, more modern looking buildings off in the distance.
it can be a good thing depending on how u look at it, the city is keeping its identity, it’ll still be newcastle.;)

It’s going to take ten whole years to build that?
