What do you work as?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 03-10-02 AT 11:50ย AM (GMT)]Hiya all.

I thought it would be interesting to find out what each of us worked as? I currently do night work, with a company that does building and decorating in shops. Not very interesting I know ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ˜› .

I am hoping soon to move into high street retail, as I enjoy working with the public.

So what do you do? ๐Ÿ™‚

RE: What do you work as?

Well it seems that my reply didn’t go through, so here it is again, I’m a photo/journalist I specialise in Wildlife work and Military work, but I’ve won awards for my work with kids especially in B/W.

Give me coffee and no-one gets hurt!

Gosh, than I guess I’m the one closest to any military job. I’m planning to get my master at the Royal military academy. Lets hope it will be replaced by that time by a European military academy ;-).

RE: What do you work as?

well geforce me old mucka, its all down to what you like about the subject you do. I do not do engineering just for the military aspects of the subject, but for the innovation, and the WANT TO KNOW element of me which just HAS to find out how stuff works.

I will probably never use my knowledge for any military applications in todays job market…

RE: What do you work as?

Seems like all of this uni-boys are engineers. Isn’t there someone around here who’s concentrating more on politics than on military itself. Anyway, I find the military aspect of the French Revolution for example at least as interesting as the newest F-22 stealth fighter.

RE: What do you work as?

Well, I’m a student at the Leuven University, near Brussels. I’m hoping to get a master in European history. My ambition: to become a journalist for a press agency and leave Europe behind. But that’s still a long way to go.

RE: What do you work as?

I work, now, in datacomms as a network engineer. Essentially I install, diagnose, troubleshoot and (sometimes!) fix problems with companies’ computer networks and comms links.

Some people reckon its just another boring computer job, but I like it and launching into a full technical discussion of how the internet actually works is a great way to get out of bad parties and to make annoying relatives go away qickly and politely!!!

Regards,
Steve
