Just found a 1976 mag published by the Aviation Soc of Ireland which lists active aircraft, wreaks and instructional airframes to be found in Ireland..
Amongst the gems are;
Institute of Tech Bolton Street Dublin
IAC 157 Seafire LF3 ……( Dismantled)
also parts of LF3 156
EI-ANN & EI-AOP …………Tiger moths again dismantled
also listed are sections of Potez 840 and DC3 & Bristol Wayfarer wings.
Carlow..
IAC 66 Westland lysander…beleived scrapped in the 60’s?
Donegal..
Tiger moth G-ANEC…dismantled
there are loads more great old machines listed including 4x M65 gemini’s !!
anyone know where they are now ?
