What is 'Pave'

Oooh look, it’s that mod from Historic again 😮

Just down the road is Mildenhall. A quiet little airbase filled with future historic aircraft which don’t interest me a lot at the moment (though one never can resist watching them – they may smell awful and make a dreadful noise, but they are still aircraft)

By far the ugliest are the Pave Low eggbeaters. BFOUH as they are known in the Moggy household.

Life is too short for me to wonder why they are called Pave Low. Maybe the Pentagon were having a bad day?

Any road up. I now hear that even nearer Lakenheath are getting gift wrapped parcels delivered, inside which, presumably to the great disappointment of the Eagle lovers there, are some smaller eggbeaters.

Apparently they are to be based there 🙁 and they are called Pave Hawks and seemed to be derived from the Black Hawk.

So I figure that ‘Pave’ must mean something.
