What is that?

Besides the fact that this is a sweet photo, what is that structure in the backround? Is it part of the A380 complex?

Ah so it is. They have moved to new facilities at Blagnac from Montaudran, never realised that. They carry out work on A320s and 737s down there.
I was down at Blagnac just over a year ago now and I can’t remember that structure. I saw the A380 facilities being built though. The roof looks to be a different shape from the actual A380 building. If you look at the A380 roof it is curved, the AF industries is straight. Sorry for getting it wrong there 🙂

If you look at the info on the Airlinerworld website for the new issue, you can see that the weird structure behind the aircraft is for Air france industries.

I answered my own question, thanks for the help though.

Yes, I think that maybe is the new A380 factory ready for the end of 2003.
