Is it by any chance the Ogn which was built in 1940 but only flew
four times after it’s first flight on the 24th November that year
due to a British ban on private flying. I believe the registration to
be TF-OGN .She was hanging up in the terminal at Keflavik.

I think it’s the Aslanov AV-1. It first flew in 1922, and was designed as a primary flight trainer for the Soviet Union. Powered by an in-line air-cooled Belyanov powerplant developing 450hp, the AV-2 was a development of the AV-1 but had larger span ailerons, larger tyres, and dual controls. Numbers produced: about 550 – production was terminated in 1924 after the management and workforce were instructed to cease the production of aircraft, and instead to produce wooden pallets.
