Scariest moment on a flight: Turbulance on descent into Monastir due to thunderstorms back in 1995 on a BY 757.

Most memorable moment on a flight: Has to be the Monarch A300 take off from Tenerife to Manchester, it started spooling on the threshold.

Best airline meal/what it was: Thomsonfly REU-MAN last summer, so much was given and the breakfast was fantastic.

Worst meal: Probably on a Spanair MD83 MME-TFS i only ate the bread role.

Worst airport visited: Reus, only about 4 check in desks, very slow and a complete shambles of an airport.

Best airport visited: Manchester, the place has a great atmosphere to it.

Yeah we was on there for 1 hour we had to leave are gate as a BA777 was due in to use that gate .well ever one just says cabin crew so they could mean the men aswel the wormen 😀 so thats why I said it 😉

Scariest moment on a flight: Probably on a couple of short hops down to LHR in turbulance, nothing too crazy!

Most memorable moment on a flight: Always the take off, especially in any A330 such a graceful/powerful aircraft.

Best airline meal/what it was: VS definatly think I had a shepherds pie!

Worst airport visited: Omaha, Nebraska, my flight DEN-ORD was changed to DEN-OMA-ORD and bad weather forced us to delay in Omaha, absolutely nothing to do for 2hrs.

What about the best and worst airlines people have flown? Best would have to be a three way tie between VS/US/BD. VS for the inflight service/US for AVOD and i love how sleek the A333 looks/BD for inflight cameras and one of the best liveries around!
Worst airline would have to be Laker Airways DC-10 MAN-MCO crampt stuffy and boring!

Scariest Moment: When leaving Hong Kong back in September, we encountered the worst turbulence ever and it lasted a good 5 minutes or so. Not exactly “scary” but nothing else springs to mind!

Most Memorable Flight: Without doubt getting upgraded from Economy to Premium Economy on EVA Air (for free) and then finding that my PTV didn’t work, so was then upgraded to Business Class. My first and probably last trip on the top deck of a 747!

Best Inflight Meal: Thai Airways wins hands down. After all, they are officially voted the best airline for economy inflight catering. The presentation of their food and huge portions make it a winner. The last time I flew with them, the meal was disgusting, so I submitted by thoughts to their Head Office in Bangkok.

Worst Airport Visited: London Heathrow Terminal 3. The majority of my trips now depart from T3 at Heathrow. There is nothing to see or do, the shops are stupidly overpriced and it is always a building site!

What about the best and worst airlines people have flown? Worst airline for me is Ryanair. You certainly get what you pay for, but the cramped conditions on board, the very limited inflight service and the shabbiness/dirtiness of their aircraft put me off for life. On the other hand, my favourite airline is probably Virgin Atlantic, very closely followed by Thai. The IFE with Virgin is superb and with a nice 9″ screen as well. Service, in my opinion, is nothing special, but the hi-tech A340-600s are absolutely amazing.

Most flown type (specific): 737 countless times followed closely by the Emb-120. The A320 series isn’t too far behind either.

Most flown airline: United. I don’t have a specific number but I have over 250,000 lifetime miles on Star carriers, at least 200,000 of which is on UA and that doesn’t count my numerous award travel flights.

Most flown route: ONT-LAX and LAX-ONT
Cheapest ever return fare (including taxes, charges etc) : roughly $70 ONT-YVR. It was right after AC went on strike in 1998 and they had some good deals to get customers back. Everybody matched the fares.

Scariest moment: Anytime I fly to Vegas the plane bounces around over the desert.

Most memorable moment: In 1983 I flew with my family on TWA to ATH and the flight attendant posted my drawing of a TW L1011 on the movie screen and everybody clapped. I was pretty pleased.

Most visited UK airport: LHR, which happens to be the only one as well.

Most visited ‘foreign’ airport: ATH, YUL, FRA, AMS.

Best meal: Any meal I’ve eaten in UA’s business class, especially the filet mignon.

Worst Airport: MEX followed by the old ATH Hellinikon. Both were dumps.

Scariest moment on a flight: One of the first times I flew was on an A310, and experienced mild turbulence. Was quie scary though, since I could see lightning below
Most memorable moment on a flight: RJ A310 approach to AMM and take off. It was lovely seeing the desert and whotnot. Also, it was good to see the sand being kicked up when we were nearing touchdown.
Best airline meal/what it was: On an RJ flight (surprise!) when we were served sausages and scrambled egg. I know it doesn’t sound very filling, but it was lovely.
Worst airport visited: None, loved them all but don’t have very fond memories of Damascus.
