What Kind of Release Units are these?

Hello,
I´m Andi from Germany.
I found this forum accidental by searching photos or informations of release units from british aircrafts of WWII.
My grandfather was a mechanic and collected all things he found in this time to use it in other machines.
So we have got a lot of parts of british aircrafts.
For example:

– E.M. release unit type N MARK 1 and
– E.M. release unit type AIII DRG-number 10750 REF 11A-552

What type or aircraft was fitted with this parts?

I´d be glad about every answer.

Greetings from Germany

– E.M. release unit type N MARK 1 and
– E.M. release unit type AIII DRG-number 10750 REF 11A-552

The E.M. release unit type N MARK 1 can be fitted to the Avro, Universal or any similar type of bomb carrier for loads of up to 1,000lb.

The E.M. release unit type AIII is for use with Light Series Carriers, i.e. for small bombs, incendiaries, flares, smoke floats, marine markers, etc.

The carrier in your larger photos looks like an Avro Standard type, albeit stripped of parts.

You are also showing a 4-way Auto Selector Switch (the box with five leads out of the bottom of it). This would often be found attached to a Light Series Carrier, although the Type C version was used on rocket firing aircraft.

Next to it is an E. M. Fuzing Unit, one of Types A,B,C,D or E depending on usage (they are all similar). Pretty much a standard fit on most bomb carriers.

Thank you for answering!
There are so many parts we don´t know of what vehicle they are…the yellow part with the big button may be something of US Army?!

I think the NO.11 set is a tank radio – the drums are radio cable drums.

The top one looks very much like a fighter type bomb shackle to me c/w sway braces – they were generic fit but that looks about right for a 250lb to me.
so – Spit, Hurribomber, Typhoon etc

The second pic, I cant make out too clearly sorry
