My Air Con in the car….the Re-gas man came, pressure checked…..NIL. Not only nil, but a LOUD hiss from the front. Condensor is a gonner. New ones are £450 so that’s no more Air Con in this car.
And then, I found out that the scrapyard (We only have one) has the same model in! The chances of this are slim because my car was only made for 3 years (1994 – 1996) then they updated it, the updated versions have a different part number (But I bet it’s the same really!). My car is also scarce because a lot suffered from the Nikasil issue and they died early. Mines fine, PO must have used good petrol!
So that bit is a good swear!

You’ve already said that in Historic Forum, it was actually quite good coverage.
It wasn’t a programme about the BBMF with a wedding thrown in!
I agree with that James, Looking at the wedding, I would say a long telephoto lense must have been used, giving a slightly fuzzy look to the flypast of the BBMF.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it . The logistics of such an item must have been a nightmare to those who had to arrange it all, and are a credit to their respective units.
WE may no longer rule the waves, but can still get our act together when needed.

Was this the first time the BBMF has made a double flypast, at Buck House?.

Never mind the “try Jim,” where were you when I visited NAM today on my way home from the Peak Dist??
Seriously though, the guys who work on these dream machines, mainly in their own time deserve a medal, one of the best A/C Museums I have visited, and I have seen a few in my time.
Well done lads, worth dropping by, they do a good cuppa!!

work saying anyone at the company since 29th April 2010 will not have tomorrow’s bank holiday taken off them as a “compulsory” day’s holiday from their holiday entitlement as they’re “loyal”. Missed that cut off point by 5 days…. and 1 colleague started 30th April 2010.

One of our sister stores in Toronto, Ontario, was held at gun point early last week. Three employees were hog tied and keys to stock rooms taken. Perps then proceeded to steal, Iphone 4s, New generation Ipod touch, Ipad 2s and a slew of other itmes.
Not sure how much was taken in total but it was a great amount. Our opening proceedures have changed and as much as they are a pain in the rear end, the safety of my employees is Tops on my list of things to do daily.
So yes, that made me swear!!!!
