What made you (want to) Swear Today III?

Well she is going to the scrapyard in the sky, but not before I’ve dismantled her and sold the parts. After all, the money may as well come back to my pocket than some scrapyards’.
The next project will hopefully start this year. A 1981 (I think) BGT LE, which may recieve a V8 :diablo:
As to rust, longevity etc. Come back and speak to me about that when Hairdresser 1&2 have made it to their 40th year like the blue B did! :p
Anyway Benyboy will be happy she’s coming back for spares reclaimation- I’ve promised him the 2 surviving Cibie Oscar spotlights!

Blue 2. Graham, Why don’t you let her go to the great scrap yard in the sky, and buy another, same make, all the rust, same as your present one,etc, you know you want to realy.;)

She’s coming home so I can dismantle her. This may sound daft, but I hated the idea of anyone else taking her apart. After all, I did build her (twice!). And this way I can keep a few choice items for the next project… 😉

Black ice one Monday morning, plus trees, equals a thoroughly smited n/s wing, bonnet, slightly twisted bodyshell, and a sore me. I went to put my warning triangle up the road a bit and slipped on my @rse it was that icy! 2 hours later the recovery bloke did the same, and when he hooked his wrecker to the B and tried to winch her up she stayed where she was and the wrecker slid across the ice to her!

This evening my family got news that my nans brother has cancer of the kidneys and probably won’t recover from it.

Hi mate, had the first of the 2 funerals yesterday, which i think will be the hardest out of the two, as she was a great friend who was there for me every time i needed someone, i almost broke down at the crem yesterday, i only just managed to hold it together, this is what i wrote as a tribute on her facebook wall “i keep seeing your picture appear on here and i sit expecting some witty comment or innuendo at any moment, i kept thinking i was seeing you at the centre today and at the service, this is actually killing me so much knowing that what im expecting is never going to happen anymore babs, this is pretty much where you would tell me itl be alright and make me smile and be happy again, i really wish this was the case right now because im sitting here in tears 🙁 i really will miss you, but il never ever forget you or what you did for me, thank you from the bottom of my heart, i love you x“

At work we have to change the Windows passwords on our PCs every month and. We are also encouraged to use “strong” passwords with mixed case letters, numerals and “special characters”. We also have an extra layer of security which synchronises itself with our Windows password, which we have to enter before Windows will start up.

So far, so good.

But I’ve just found that by putting a pound sign in my password, which Windows was fine with, it made my password invalid for the other security system when I tried to log on the next day. So by following company security advice I effectively locked myself out of my own PC.

Grief from Cruella as I dared to, and please, if this makes me a bad father please post your views…. are you ready ? I took….. and this will shock you…. my 12 year old son……. for, a haircut….

a spate of texts to us both “why did you take him”, “why did you go with your dad”…..

It was a barbers love, not a brothel/crack house…….. 😮

My mum as well, third time around, breast cancer twice, survived, now its spread elsewhere and going through all of the tests. Have to say that in timescales (EG, 24 hours from blood test to phone call to come in, and onto scan dates etc) The NHS has been superb, if unintentionally scaring us all with the “must be bad if that fast” thoughts.

Last June 2011 I took 3 separate deliveries of wood and coal for this winter, I had negotiated a price and paid with cash, in full, on each delivery.

This morning 2 March 2012, a letter drops on my mat demanding £8.70 from the same people saying I was short of the invoice.

This afternoon I noticed a postman on the cctv, rush to the door and dash back to his van U-turn and head back to Newquay. He left behind a demand for £1.38 on a letter with incorrect payment, £1 of which was handling, so we’re looking at 38p. He drove out from Newquay, without the letter, a journey of 8 miles, 16 round trip to deliver this ultimatum, 14 days or we send it back.

Compared to some I had an easy day, I went to change the wheel bearings on my car, took the hub off and put it in a press to get the bearings out. I continued to exert pressure on the bearing until I hit 54 tons of pressure (yes, u read that right) whereupon the entire hub exploded into pieces!!! Now i need a hub AND bearings,, oh well.
