What made you (want to) Swear Today?

As a kind of companion thread to “What Made You Smile Today?” what made you angry or just annoyed today? Get it off your chest here, folks. I’ll kick off with this. These two animals beat a completely innocent man to a pulp, and when he asked them why they were attacking him replied “You ain’t done nothing. We’re just having you” And today, news that their already paltry sentences have been REDUCED. Christ, I despair of this country sometimes, I really do.

Those bloody agency muppets must be having a fecking laugh?!

Go to Livingston to work for three days, in this weather?! Not to mention they’ve skilfully neglected to inform me how much the pay rate is!!

Tossers.

What made me swear today …

Christmas is all over … time to get back into university work.

Is it really that bad? I’m back to work as well as many of us, I imagine, but pleasant though time with the family is, work is challenging and often enjoyable so never to be cursed.:)

It’s been snowing on and off constantly in Newcastle since January 1st … at least 3 inches of snow.

We have snow forcast between now and next Thursday 😮

With tonight’s temperatures expected to be -6°

After no problems at Newark, JFK and Amsterdam we finally got back to Newcastle only to hear ‘we have got you onto an airbridge due to the snow but unfortunately it cannot be attached so you’ll have to wait for a set of stairs’, we waited forever for a set of stairs, when we did get off the aircraft it was like an ice rink. Everything had gone fine at EWR,JFK and AMS even with increased security.

What made you want to swear today?

A long trip made even longer thanks to the new airport security causing delays. Before yesterday, I agreed that extra airport security was necessary, but what I experienced at two of the three airports I visited yesterday was overkill.
