Another morning where I wake up at stupid AM, long before I really need to!

a computer shop should be able to get it off the HD and put it on a disk for you. we have a shop here in town that has done it for me. granted that isnt much help being 6500 miles away. you may give some computer shops a call. they should be able to help, hope so anyway.. do you have best buy electronics stores in the UK? i know they are in several countries besides here. if you do have one they have a tech there that can do it.

I went to a computer shop, they were the ones who told me the essay was irretrievable. £80 was also the lowest quote I received from the computer shops.

So**ing student finance company. To cap it all, a very important politics essay was on that laptop. One due in for Monday. And I can’t retrieve it. I’m in deep s**t if I can’t re-type it before then.

air compressor took a dump on me about an hour ago. right in the middle of running a pneumatic riveting hammer…. bummer as there goes another 700 bucks.. cant finish riveting this yugo M64UF til i get another….

This happened a few days ago but I still want to swear, and I actually have done. My laptop has finally packed in after 3 years of heavy travelling and severely heavy use, so I can’t edit photos, I can’t screen on JP; I can’t really do that much! My boss has kindly lent me his old laptop so I can at least check emails and keep up to certain things on the net but I can’t do anything photographic, which is an immense annoyance. That said, hopefully by this time next week I’ll be sitting here at home in front of a brand spanking new 27 inch iMac. If that happens then I’ll be posting in the ‘what made you smile today’ thread instead of this one!

The tw@t in the room next to mine in halls who decided to give an impromptu electric guitar concert to his friends. At four o’clock in the bl**dy morning.:mad: I think I will hire a sub-woofer system found on chav’s cars, (the kind that make mini earthquakes whenever they pass your house), place it outside his bedroom door, and play the collected organ works of Johann Sebastian Bach, with Boellmann’s Suite Gothique toccata thrown in for good measure. Let’s see how he likes it, other peoples music tastes blaring out at an un-godly hour. :diablo:

Yea i had an idiot making such comments on my Tarantula video, making out mines too fat,overfed and kept in the wrong container etc with lots of Fs and Cs thrown in for good measure. I had to go in and delete the comments-theres just no need for such language! Oh its an adult site,so lets behave like cavemen! Idiot!

You CAN disable comments on your videos, though.

What p*ssed me off recently on YouTube was some stupid American (sorry, but he is) who just simply won’t listen to someone who knows what they are talking about (OK, so I’m not an expert, but I know the damn difference between a trot and a gallop when it comes to horses!).

Robbie most of the comments on face book are written by ‘Dolts’ and ‘Philistines’…why there isn’t moderation on some of these disgusting and childish posts is beyond me…we might need to get the Key Moderators over there to give them a few lessons on how to behave on a public forum 😡
