What make/model of a/c please?

I’d appreciate any advice as to the make/model of aircraft in the attachment. From the little knowledge I have of one of the two men I believe the photo dates from the early/mid 1920s.

Earlier than the 1920s??

It’s got a roundel on the fuselage and it’s serial (A1—??) on the fin. Did the RAF still fly BE2s after 1918??

Thanks BM – I did wonder but thought there should have been a wing strut visible. A BE2e was crossing my mind.

Its an RAF BE2c or possibly an e looking at the shape of the fin 🙂
