Canberra experts please help!
I’ve been reviewing my collection of control columns and yokes and have unearthed this one.
It is clearly from a Canberra, but which Mark?
The l/h handle has a switch labeled F95 camera, so I’m assuming it’s from one of the P.R. variants.
For the record, the left handle is marked AC61582, the right hand is an AC61836.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

The new single pole switch was introduced in the early 50s to prevent tailplane runaway problems experienced on early marks fitted with one two-way directional tailplane switch. They were mounted on the top of the Right hand horn in a fore and aft position. The rearmost switch controlling the direction of tailplane travel, the front one controlling the introduced isolating contactor (fitted in the rear fuselage) to prevent tailplane runaway.
The PR9 yoke had a similar two switch arrangement on the right hand horn but the switches were side by side toggled and joined at the top for thumb use. The ‘Press to Talk’ switch was mounted on the inside face at the bottom of the Right hand horn.
An air brake control switch was mounted on the top centre of the horn on a separate mounting plate. The Left hand horn had differing switches mounted on the top according to Canberra type. The B(I) versions had triggers mounted on the Right hand horn.

Starboard horn
The rear switch is the autopilot instinctive cutout switch.
Top linked switches are for the tail trim control switches.
The small push button on front is the Radio PTT.
Port Horn
The top switch activates the selected F95 Mk2 camera.
(the nav preselects port, Fwd or Stbd camera before the run and hopes the pilot remembers to bank the same way he requested!)

Should be another additional pistol switch on the rear of the stbd horn.
Thanks Ross. There is a press-to-transmit switch let in to the body of the right hand grip, operated by a squeeze of the fingers. It’s not visible in this photo, but I take it that’s what you mean?

After the runaway tailplane disasters, two toggle switches were fitted to the left-hand grip on our RAAF Canberras.
So this yoke was probably pre- that problem.
I know, what use is that!

Moments after posting this question, I recalled this thread about Canberra grips, in which YakRider posted a picture of a PR9 cockpit (on page 2).
The grips look identical to me, but can anyone give confirmation?
