What? More Duxford Air Show ~ 04Sep10

A very enjoyable day out at the Duxford Summer Air Show on the Saturday, just a pity that the meteorological conditions during the afternoon were far from ideal for a bit of photographing.

When the Sony Alpha 450/550 cameras first came out they had a new better sensor for collecting more detail linked to, I believe, the same processor as used in the full frame Alpha 800/900. Until I got the 500mm/F8 Reflex lens, I’ve never used filters.

Great shots. You have a real winner in this lens.
But more than anything, I’m very impressed by the rendering of the color tones (lens or camera… or polarizing filter ?) specially in the Hurri BE505’s camouflage and the Dutch Spitfire’s metal finish subtle shades.
