quality, are we all republicans !? I like idea, until I got to President Tony Blair:rolleyes::eek:. Nice piece in the German press though. To quote a little directly to get you interested :
“It’s wrong if the head of state of a country can only come from one family. It’s wrong to furnish this clan with palaces, land and all manner of grants to spare its members the indignity of having to earn their keep and enable them to live in luxury. It is wrong to address the Windsors and, from next Friday the delightful Kate Middleton as well, as Your Royal Highness or even Your Majesty. It is wrong to see them as anything other than people made of flesh and blood, like you and I.”

Don’t ever watch a royal wedding with someone who has dememtia – every time there was a close-up of William Mum asked ” Who’s that ? ” and she thought the Queen was ” that woman from Are you being served “. Bes bit was the BBMF.

Who cares? Let them have their wedding. Some people have more money than others…life isn’t fair. Get over it.
Well said if anyone is stupid enough to live under the nieve belief that they live in a completely fair democracy, with an elected head of state or not, are just fooling themselves.
Every country has fair and unfair rules, taxes, and money being spent on things it’s peoples don’t desire.

I am not quite a Royalist lover, but I have just watched the wedding on TV, and I.M.H.O. I thought they looked a great couple, and am pleased to see no “Radicals” were there causing trouble.
Love is a wonderfull thing, and I for one wish them both a happy life together.

Oh good grief…somebody in Germany obviously needs more important topics to write about.

Given that the “House Of Windsor” is German by heritage …. quite a lot !?
Its not for their Germans to tell our Germans (and a Greek) whats right or wrong.:diablo:
that Her Majesty is not responsible for trying to totally eradicate a race…
Just Pheasant and Foxes.

Your Majesty or Mein Fuhrer? What’s the difference? Other than the fact that Her Majesty is not responsible for trying to totally eradicate a race….

Didn’t they allow a Corporal to run their Country for awhile?
Did he not get a bit carried away building things?
Did he have a title that he expected to be called?
We fought you lot (twice) and won so we (as a country) can enjoy our Royals making numpties of themselves (for the people).
All I can say Jerries is, “Whats it got to do with you?”
