I have been wondering what postal services forum members in the UK use? With Royal Mail’s increasingly restrictive no-send list, i.e aircraft instruments are specifically listed as are magnesium metals, how does one mail aircraft parts that are in all respects legal?

Parcel2Go – no need for an account and access all the major carriers..
UK -Handles parcels up to 30 kg using YODEL – £10 Next day delivery……
FEDEX for US and Canada and
DPD for France and Germany.
Italy – it depends….

Getting impossible to keep quiet.
Had a MkII clock sent to me from the US recently.
All passed and accepted States side but triggered the radiation detectors at Coventry when it arrived in the UK.
Invited to accept in person at Coventry hub so I turned up with a panel for the aeromuseum in the back of the car to drop off after picking up the clock.
The BFP in the car set off the gate detectors as I drove up to the security gatehouse.
All incoming vehicles including the HGVs are screened this way according to the bods.
My experience says no to trying to ship a hot instrument in or out of Coventry hub as an undeclared item.
