What scale are these?

Painted these models years ago along with many zillion others ive got stashed around the place. Aint got a clue to the scale though other than i think the Spits are maybe 1/250??. Any idea`s anyone??

I remember the 2 Fairey Battles starting life as Fulmers that i chopped up abit.. The Phantom tail i painted with a brush with about 2 bristles on it.

They are a lot smaller than 1/144, Trouble is i dont have any of the boxes. For the most they are plastic but a few are white metal. Ive about 150 of them :confused:

Dificult to say without being able to take measurements. The Me109 is approx 1.08″ span which would make it about 1/360 scale.

The Spitfire looks a bit smaller, I would guess about 1/600 scale.

You can work it out by dividing the full size wingspan by the model wingspan.

They look like the type used for war gaming.

pistonrob;

Are they made of white metal by any chance? I seem to remember these being advertised back in the mid eighties in a couple of model magazines. I still have those magazines, so I will dig out the adverts today.

Nifty painting by the way!

Steve

Cool! Must have been fun to paint being so small. Not sure on the scale, I have some Micro Machine aircraft and your models are a bit bigger than my micros. I also have a Matchbox Spitfire made in 1975 which is a bit bigger than your models.

They look really cool! 🙂
