Or for that matter, knowing the date of the Russian revolution and being an “open minded friendly and slighly eccentric sort you find by a fence in the rain with a camera”.
Does calling the Sunday Telegraph (which, by the way, carries more historic aviation related articles than any other mainstream newspaper I know of) a “Fascist Rag” make you an open minded and friendly person? I’ll let others judge.
Firstly, thank you. I have been posting on here since 2000.
Secondly it was a tongue in cheek comment that would go over the head over most Americans.
The offending article was by Evelyn Waugh.
And like many enthusiasts I am a short sighted slightly built open minded individual in a mac, sporting a camera, who blends in nicely with the crowd at air shows. I am like many many disgruntled Brits, fed up with politictians and unsure where I fit in with the current climate!
On a final note I have been a free lance journalist since 1994, and type very fast hence my spelling on forums isnt up to scratch all the time.
