Perhaps I’ve hidden a bit too much behind closed doors with regard to my identity in recent threads. Anyway, let’s throw caution to the wind and here’s my website. Unfortunately it’s rather out of date (Iloosely updated it a bit last new year) and you’ll need to give the graphic on the opening page a moment or five to fully load up.

I understand the point you made, and I suppose you would need stepped up security in N.I.
It’s just that I have worked as an employee of a Police Service (though not as a police officer) in Australia for over 32 years and I know that crank calls don’t get overwhelming attention all the time.
As I said, if I rang you and called you a bonehead, or something much worse, from the opposite side of the world, and the call was traced, I doubt that much would be done about it by your local police or Interpol – they have enough on their plates already with real policing issues.
Anyway, we should get this post back on track – as some others know, it’s an annoyance to me when threads digress.

You know I am from Northern Ireland. Due to Security Risks over here all our calls are recorded and all calls which are abusive or where the caller hangs up or any prnak calls are traced to make sure there isnt a security threat to us.
I included my dads job so that it would hpefully stop prank calls

I apologise to other members for going so far off post with this message, but that is the second time to my recollection that you have alluded to your father’s position. That’s the sort of thing silly little boys do when they are trying to impress their mates. It doesn’t belong here!!! You need to grow up a bit, my lad. The fact that your dear ol’ dad is a “senior policeman” won’t matter diddly if someone wants to ring you up and call you a bonehead. Cops have much better things to do than chase idiots making stupid phone calls.
Leave dad out of it, grow up and get on with it.
Now, back to the news and matters that matter.

I would advise against prank calls as since my dad is a senior police officer it is constantly monitored by police.

After 9-11 I was one of 55 pilots due to be made redundant from JMC but gradually the number was reduced (and in fact only became zero last week after some guys had spent a year on extended redundancy notice) and I got above the cut line. It was a very difficult time with a heavily pregnant wife.
I forgot I had left a picture of my cat in the bath! We have 2 of these (Devon Rex) cats and they are both exceedingly funny and very ugly (beauty is in the eye of the beholder, ask my wife!). These are the breed made famous by Mr. Bigglesworth in the Austin Powers films and in the picture in the ‘Funny photos’ thread that ran recently. I was too embarrassed to say I had 2 of the breed!!!

But he said he got redundancy in another page after 9/11 and he said he started at JMC in Janurary 2001!
