What to buy

Hi,

In todays world modern multi-mission fast jets are a military requirement.
Which combat aircraft would you select, which one would be the best & why.
At what unit cost ?

So far If I were to modernise the Belgian air force I would buy
72 JAS-39 Gripen C (Road capability)
24 VTOL JSF to use on a Navantia or Armaris Amphibious carrier.
52 UCAV’s (X-47 and 12 armed Eagle Eye’s)
