What Type

Can anybody bidentify the type of glider in the attached photograph. A friend of mine gave it to me and the only info I have is that it was taken in the USA.

I think you are thinging of Fauvel flying wing which there were serveral different variants of.

I am sure it is not one of these. It looks to me like it might be some sort of homebuilt. Sadly I can not even seen a registration to help out.

Looks like something inspired by the Claude Fauvel series of gliders/motorgliders.

Reminds me of some French glider design. Can’t remember the name though.
