The other day with the help of a friend I was trying tho figure out when and how the SEA (South East Asia) camouflage patern came to be… What airplane first wielded the “Two-tone Green and Tan”. Did it start with the South Vietnam Air Force or did it start with covert aircraft operating outside the USAF? My guesses are the T-28 (covert) or the F-100 (USAF). Could it be the venerable C-47?
Anyone care to pitch in some info?
