What was the first plane you ever flew in?

lol, well looking back on some photos it looks like i was very young and on a 757 cant remember it but its somthing to put here 😀

Bristol 170 Freighter Mk 32 of British United from Lydd to Ostend in 1963. I know its an old type but I was VERY young and I remember it well as our family car was loaded onto the plane via clamshell nose doors! We did the same trip again from SEN to OST on a Carvair of BAF some years later, a larger plane but the idea was the same in that your car went too.

My father being a pilot for Trans-Texas Airways, there’s a good chance that I flew in the womb……..but the first flight I remember, was on a Convair 600 Turbo-Prop.

For my 5th birthday, my parents and I flew from Dallas Love Field to Los Angeles on a “big jet”, an American Airlines 707. We arrived at night, and took a cab to the hotel, where I was brought a cupcake with a candle in it——some Birthday :confused:

Well, the next morning we got dressed and walked out the other side of the hotel………and there was a friggin’ Monorail!!!
I was going to DISNEYLAND!!!! Now that was something pretty special for this 5 year old! The best part was seeing my mother freak out in the front seat of the Matterhorn Bobsled ! It looked so tame as it begins . . . . PRICELESS ! ! 😀 😀

British Airways 757-236 GLA-LHR Easter 85. Connected to BA L1011 LHR-CDG, and returned a week later direct CDG-GLA on a BA BAC1-11.

A Wardair DC10 on PIK-YYZ. The year was ’89 or ’90.

I don’t remember the first one as I was a babe in arms, but it was a BIA Handly Page Herald in 1971. First one I recall was a Britannia 732 in 1981.

Air Uk Leisure 767 Gatwick-Orlando in 1995

Mine was a BY 737-200 in 1991

Dan Air 737-400 to Malta from Newcastle when I was 6 weeks I think:confused:
