Yo Arthur
Gotta admit that a ‘doorstep’ of fresh cooked still slightly warm bread is best (Specially if it has a generous helping of butter and syrup on it…the thicker trhe doorstep the better !)
Hmmmmm next on the list of ‘modified’ foods…how about a loaf of bread consisting entirely of crust’s….definately the best slice of bread !
Cheers

A knife to slice bread yourself? I never really cared for unsliced bread actually, because by using a knife (or one of those electrical one-slice at one time home-slicers) gives you full control on the thickness of the slice.
A more interestign question is what comes next on the evolution of consumer goods?
Pre-salted eggs?
Pre-molten marshmallows?
