What will survive ?.

Do you think all the major aircraft programs the US will survive ?
1.V-22 Future in the balance but desperately needed by the USMC to replace it ageing helicopter fleet,USAF to replace it’s HH-60G which is nearing are nearing it 7,000hr operational limits, some of the first delivered will be over that by the time the CV-22 is due in service, and also the MH-53J.
2.JSF,furthest behind in developement off all the big procurement projects,Airforce would sacrifice the JSF for the F-22,so it could buy more F-22’s,then could justify a F-22E model
USMC has the biggest need for the JSF to replace AV-8B fleet which has suffered from many groundings.
USN would purchase more SuperHornets to fill the gap left by the JSF if it was cancelled.
But JSF has huge internatonal export potential for the US in the future so this could have a bearing on the JSF.
3.F-22,just about ready to enter LRIP and is the USAF most important acquisition project,USAF would sacrifice other projects to keep the F-22.
