What would be the best airshows for a ME262 to be at?

Would love to get some advice, and contacts if possible, for airshows in Europe that you would like to see a Messerschmitt 262, and possibly a Bf-109 at. Sign up on the contacts page of our website at http://www.warbirdrecovery.com for updates…

Still looking for any contacts for airshows in UK… to start…

Thanks to all who have commented on this request. I would like any airshow coordinator contact information if anyone has it. And for those looking for a cockpit shot of the 262…

Avalon? you’ve got to be joking Stormbird, that show is f*****g dire.
Best show’s would be Legends, Wanaka and Berlin ILA.
A 262 would be a brilliant “surprise guest” @ Wanaka coming easter.

You wanna see the one time adversaries flying together? Check out the new issue of Air Classics with the Collings B-24 flying in company with the 2 seat 262….great pix…even what looks like a firing pass in B & W…!

Simple answer – all of them

Less greedy answer – any that Sally B is flying at. To see the one-time adversaries together in the sky would be worth travelling any distance in the UK for.

Not sure Old Warden would make a suitable operating field ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Without doubt the one of the Messerschmitt Stiftung will be seen at the ILA Berlin in coming May, most probably together with their 109 and 108. BW Roger

Somewere in Ontario Canada would be nice, Maybe in formation with Mr. Russell’s 109, Spit and Hurri? or Mr. Potter’s Spit?

Just a suggestion ๐Ÿ™‚

Biggin Hill would get my vote, Shorham would be another one as both are family shows with a Variety of both Classic and modern Aircraft.

Kemble would definitely get my vote. OK, so it’s nice ‘n close for me, but it has become the best classic jet show in UK, if not Europe. They haven’t called it the ‘Classic Jet Air Show’ in a couple of years, but its still the main theme for the annual air day in June. Its a great venue for an air show, and it usually attracts some interesting aircraft. The 15 Hunter formation flypast a few years ago is still one of my favourite air show performances. The new classic jet flying museum is due to open in the next few years, comprising Delta Jets (Hunters, Gnat, JP), and Air Atlantiques jets (Canberra, Meteor, Vampire, Venom), so the classic jet theme is set to continue.

Oh, and its within range of MB.

Contact details are at http://www.kemble.com

Anywhere but Legends. Will be nice to see, but no substiture for the real thing.; Roll on the FHC example ๐Ÿ˜‰

OK, if you two are so anti Legends we’ll settle for Kemble then, or Abingdon Fayre next year ๐Ÿ™‚
