It can be commercial or otherwise, but flying a good old Tiger Moth or Savoia S.21 would be a brilliant experience. What would you choose, even if you can fly it or not!

Yup. And you wouldn’t have it any other way 😀
Oh, and welcome back!

Having already done T6G, Pitts S2B, and just over a month ago, a Boeing Stearman….. next on the list is a heavy duty warbird – Spit / Mustang… or any fast jet…

Over a 25 year period I have flown numerous planes, I will do my best to cast my mind back and list a few of them, Chipmunk, Jet Provost, Hawk, Tornado, Tucano, Bulldog, Spitfire, Hurricane, Mustang, P47 Thunderbolt, Harvard, Tiger Moth, Piper Cub, Auster, Sopwith Pup, Miles Magister, CAP 21,CAP 231, Extra 230? Slingsby, Pilatus PC?, Pitts Special, Cessna ??, Sukhoi SU??.
Alas………………They were all Radio Controlled!!!!
They did however all have different characteristics and probably the best was the Tiger Moth which was Quarter Scale, followed by my friends Mosquito. Apologies for it not being “real”…..We can dream!!!

Too true, Padre. Not much to look at in there bar your instruments and the pilot’s right foot. Might make a good one man sit-in disco though…

I would love to have my own business carrying sightseers round in a Grumman Albatross
What flavour is it? 😎

I would love to have my own business carrying sightseers round in a Grumman Albatross over in the Caribbean.
A flight at the controls of a Lanc would be rather nice too 😎

Can’t decide between a Lightning or a Phantom.
If it was me ! Lightning .

Having never been up in a plane, any really! Though I have a soft spot for the DC-3 Dakota for some reason!

I would have an SR-7, a Vulcan, and a Mosquito. All brand new, zero hours. I would quite like them to be fully armed too

Super Decathlon, Pitts S2. Always thought it would be the Spitfire until I sat in one. All I could think was what a horrible little tin box to die in. Made me admire those who did even more.

But not in the ‘Coal Hole’ of the Sea Vixen eh?

Sir Moggy said it best, indeed. For me, it has to be a warbird. From the prop era, the Fw190, Mosquito, P-51 or even a Gladiator. Jets? Easy – any DH twin-boom job 😀
