When I worked at Gamston in the 1980’s Ivan Shaw was air testing a twin conversion of the Long EzE he had built. I know it was damaged whilst stored there but what was its ultimate fate please?
OK I know it border line as historic goes but I believe it was the only one.

Thank you for the promt replies- here is a photo of Ivan taken shortly before it was damaged. I know to some it may not seem historic enough to fit in , but here it is.:)

I remember the first year it turned up at the PFA Rally sporting the twin engine installation – raised some interest and I believe won a prize at the event. It looked a clean conversion and not some nasty bodge job.

Wankle Power!
This aircraft is still registered and looks to have two Norton Wankle engines…
