Whats going on at CDG?

just got in from seeing war of the worlds from the cinema (excellent film!!!), and i looked at teletext, and saw that all inbounds from CDG were all at least 4 hours late! Those flights included AF ones!

Is there summat wrong? Or just France punishing the Brits as they lost out in the Olympic bid :p

Any ideas?

LOL not a good 2 days for CDG. T5 the long delays were last night but I can imagine the chaos now with one of the runways blocked.

According to airliners.net a TAM A330 has slipped of the taxiway into the grass. Perhaps that hampers operations too.

I had a look at the Heathrow Airport last night and the majority of the flights were operating in from CDG with minimal delays – as in 20 minutes at most.

Wildcat strike by staff working for the fuel companies at CDG.
