I was just thinking how little is being shown about what’s going on at Duxford. I know their is a little report every now and then but i remember when for at least a week before the show there were scores of photo’s being posted not only here but on the Duxford Times website. I know it’s now flyvintage but it just ain’t as good as Duxford Times.
Enough of my ranting, i’ll be there tomorrow pm and on sunday. I just hope the rain clears. And i don’t care if there are going to be a few missing either! :p

To elaborate – I think TFC should be cheered for getting the P-39 here and flying, rather than criticised for not getting the Hawk 75 here.
I agree and theres always september for the hawk anyway and i guess theres still a chance she could be a static at legends.
All i say is well done all involved at TFC and thank you to the restorers for allowing us the chance to see such a rare breed of Aircraft fly.

As Chris says – these aircraft have never been advertised as being at Legends. That they would be at Duxford this weekend was speculation. It seems likely that it was the intention to get these aircraft to Duxford this weekend, however it seems that perhaps the Hawk 75 wasn’t finished in time, or couldn’t be shipped in time.
The speculation on forums has built up the expectation that it would be there, based on rumour.
