In the May issue of Aviation News incorporating Classic Aircraft magazine we have a feature with the latest news and developments from the museum and the various historic aircraft companies at Duxford. This is the start of an occasional series profiling the latest developments at important aviation heritage airfields.
There is also an article on the Gnat Display Team, which is based at North Weald.
To keep up to date with the heritage aviation scene there is now a larger Preservation news section and any new aircraft discoveries are featured in the Aviation Archaeology section.
Each month there is airshow news detailing the most exciting aircraft that will be attending air displays, in addition to our calendar of airshow dates around the world.
The May issue also has a major article on the famous Dambusters which looks back over the achievements of the RAF’s famous 617 Squadron.
In addition, there is a feature on the USAF’s first nuclear fighter-bomber unit which was based in East Anglia and flew Republic F-84G Thunderjets.
