Other than hopefully RAC’s 109 Buchon, what other vintage aircraft will hopefully be on the circuit in 2005?

Is the restoration of the Yak 1 realy making such a great progress? I’ll get in line for that picture update of HAC site. 🙂

All hope not lost
My dream is for TFC to have the Fiat CR.42 flying at Legends. Unfortunately we’ll have to wait until 2006 to see it shoot down Gladiators once again.

Don’t worry Steward. The stringbags will be back in full force in 2006 (I hope)!
Yes duxfordhawk, OFMC Yak3 would be a nice addition on the scene. We have waited a long time to see this bird!
Of course all the other projects mentioned here are stunning too. I hope a lot of these birds do succeed to fly again in 2005. 😎

Two former Boscombe Down Hawker Hunters, FGA.9 XE601 and T.7 XL612, will make debuts in 2005, subject to the usuals.

Mark 12, I wish I had but it was an “unauthorised” visit so cameras weren’t a good idea. If there are any of the ex-NAPS chaps on this site they may have something

Thanks for the update on the Po-2. Must be tricky for Shuttleworth on how best to deploy their resources. I hope I’ll have an update on the Seafire early in the New Year. Like you I’d love to see one flying again. I remember seeing a row of them at Stretton many years ago. What would they be worth now?
ozplane,
May I ask if you photographed the line up at Stretton?
Both SX336 and SX300, both of the Warrington scrap yard circa 1973, were ex Stretton.

Mike J. Are you being pessimistic or a “Grumpy old git”. My source has Legends as the target for the Seafire.
By: ozplane - 20th December 2004 at 15:46
Tim Manna’s Seafire? And the Shuttleworth Polyfilla Mark 2 biplane or whatever it was called perhaps?

Believed to have been undergoing a major service.

Voormezele’s Buchon was due to fly last summer. Hope she will make it now.
