What's that in the background

I presume this picture to be taken at RAF Stafford but what’s that grey/white thing lurking in the background?

I was astonished to find that only 3 intact Scimitars exist, looking at the markings it looks like the example on USS Intrepid, in which case the picture may have been taken in a store at Yeovilton before she was exported to the USA.

I’m not sure if you are joking or not Pete, It’s a scale model of a Scimitar in standard FAA markings.
There is a company here in S.Wales that makes RAF ground support equipment, the manager has a large scale model Scimitar in his office, I’m wondering if it could be the same one.

I thought that too, but why does the RAF Museum Reserve have a large model of a Scimitar in storage?
