Have you seen any really good dioramas with an aviation theme?
You can describe it, but pictures or links to pictures would be better…

On my first visit to the RAF Museum Hendon in 1975, they didn’t have many American made planes on display (the only one I recall is the Hoverfly helicopter). Instead, many of the AC were represented by models in dioramas. Any idea what happened to them?
Also somewhere I recall seeing a diorama of a 8th AF B-17 box formation using 1/72 scale Fortresses….that would be neat to do if you could replicate the SNs and nose art from a particular mission…and had a huge room to display them in.

Those are awesome, Dave! They make my proposed Dark Blue World diorama (which, incidentally, was never finished!) look like chicken****!
I do remember seeing one in a magazine years ago of a Bf109G ramming a B-17 – that was something else!
