Where`s it from, reg seems to be PH-OTH
Why was it droning back n to in a criss cross pattern over my workshops yesterday??
Now n then it dropped its undercart, Why??. there`s no airfields within 10 miles

It has a lot of flap down meaning the pilot wishes to fly very slowly. I would guess it wasn’t quite slow enough so he/she lowered the gear for more form drag.

PH-OTH used to belong to KLM Aerocarto, which nowadays is called Aviodrome Aerocarto.
PH-OTH is presently registered to Fugro Aerial Mapping B.V.

I believe there’s a lot of LIDAR surveying going on at the moment, might it be that?

Its a Piper PA 31-350 Navajo Chieftain.
It belongs to KLM Aerocarto. Probably taking pictures for mapping..
