IH,

If you’ve a supply of these, there may be quite a few interested parties. However, don’t kill the Goose; there are alternatives at a price.

G’day 😉

PM please on the supply chain?:)

that’s quite interesting, as the place it comes from has nothing to do with Gipsy engines!! Are you sure it wasnt used on other engines? I’ll prolly be able to get me A LOT of these spark plugs..

In short, the Gipsy!

The REL 38 series are no longer produced and are a shade hotter than the ’37’ in current production. Originally, Gipsy’s had 12mm plugs which have a tendency to foul, but a 14mm is a better choice. Our conversion to 14mm on the outboard engines has been an unqualified success.

Interesting that you have one. The late Ed Clark from Hawthorn CA basically bought up all the stock and was the only man anyone knew who could supply them.

Hope that helps.

G’day and Merry Xmas;)
