My or someone else’s life!
Is how much!!

That has to be one of the best responses I have ever seen on any forum. How can a monetary value be put on such a thing?

Be careful, looking more carefully at the picture shown rather than my initial glance, the unit shown is not a Fishpond indicator, which is an Indicator Type 182A, but one of the Indicator Type 6 series. These were used for all sorts of purposes, for example in Rebecca and ASV systems, and are much more common. I don’t know of any application where an Indicator Type 6 was installed as shown, it will simply not function as a Fishpond Indicator.
I believe the BBMF Lancaster has a Type 6 incorrectly installed there………

I should imagine it will command a good price if it is available for sale, I’d certainly be keen to put a bid in although there are quite a few similar looking indicators that serve other functions.

“Fishpond” radar indicator, an extension of H2S. It gave warning of aircraft approaching from below. Worth is somewhat subjective – few collectors of this old gear, and internal condition is just as important as external. Radar sets tend to be heavy and can’t be operated, unlike vintage radio sets, so demand is low.
